FAQ's Do you have One Month Memberships? Yes and you may purchase them at the YMCA of Steuben County front desk for the following rates: Youth $34.56; Adult $69.45; Single Family $76.99; Family $81.80. You will have full member use of our facility. For your convenience PRINT and complete these membership forms before you come in. For your convenience PRINT and complete these Guest Pass forms before you come. The purpose of a guest pass is to allow members to bring an out-of-town/local business associate, neighbor or friend for an occasional visit. Members may bring as many different guests as they desire. Our day rate is: Youth $5.00; Adult $10.00; Family $15.00. Do you participate in the A.W.A.Y Program? A.W.A.Y means "Always Welcome at the Y." So, when your away from home, on business or vacation, you will be warmly welcomed by all other participating Y's in the United Stated according to their Y policy. Because each local Y sets its own policies, each participating Y in the A.W.A.Y. program develops its own local restrictions. If you are planning to visit another Y, please call that Y for its visitor policies before you go. To find information on any Y in the United States, go to www.ymca.net, and conduct a "Find Your YMCA" search. Our A.W.A.Y. policy is; We will be accepting all Y members free; however, if a person who is a member of another Y facility that is located farther than 55 miles from us, will receive only 5 FREE visits per calendar year. After the 5 visits they will pay half the price of our day pass. Anyone who is a member of a Y that is 55 miles or closer will continue paying half price of our day pass price. They will not receive 5 visits free. Only the following Y's are in this category.
Does the YMCA of Steuben County offer Financial Assistance? The YMCA of Steuben County is pleased to offer the Membership Assistance Program (MAP) which is designed to provide financial assistance to those people in our community that are not able to afford a membership at the Y. Can I transfer or cancel my membership? Membership at your YMCA of Steuben County is a one year commitment. Should you decide to end your membership after that first year, we need a 30 day notice to stop your automatic bank or credit card withdrawal. The Y also reserves the right to cancel any program if enrollment is insufficient. A full refund or class credit will be given in this event. Are Corporate Memberships Available? Corporate Member employees will receive a 10% discount on the monthly rate and enrollment fee. Ask your employer if they are a part of the YMCA of Steuben County Corporate Program. The first Saturday of every month the YMCA of Steuben County is free to all college students. Just bring your college ID for access to the Y all day. What are the additional charges for the aerobic classes? All land and water aerobics are included free with your membership. There is also a charge for swim lessons, sports programs, leagues and specialty programs. |
