SilverSneakers® is the nation’s leading exercise program designed exclusively for Medicare-eligible adults and for group retirees.

Your YMCA of Steuben County is a contracted facility for this most beneficial program.  Being physically active helps reduce healthcare costs, so more and more insurance programs are providing this benefit to their customers.

The start of a new year can bring new insurance coverage for many seniors.  This is a great time to check your eligibility for this program.  If you are a current SilverSneakers® participant, and recently changed your coverage, it is a good idea to check your eligibility.  Or, if you would like to find out if you qualify for this program, you can call our Y at (260) 668-3607 and provide us with your name and date of birth.  We can have an answer for you right away.

Our Y also provides land and water SilverSneakers® Classes which are designed specifically for older adults and taught by certified instructors.  Call or stop by today to see if you qualify as our newest members.
