Conclusion:
LAYERS OF PROTECTION — Water safety isn’t just during swim time. Each layer can be used together when in or around water to help reduce the risk of drowning. Each day will focus on different layers of water safety. You never know which layer will save a life.
Every child and adult should be equipped with the skills to protect themselves in and around water by learning and enhancing their basic water safety skills to reduce the risk of drowning and aquatic-related injuries. This program will be free for all participants that register.
The YMCA sincerely thanks the Crooked Lake Association for their invaluable partnership and collaboration, playing a vital role in making the SAW program possible.
*Please bring a vest style life jacket, towel and sun protection for each child participating.
