Y Zone

Y-Zone offers members the comfort of knowing that their children will be well cared for by warm, caring, and fun staff members while they have the opportunity to use the YMCA facility.

With a high commitment to providing quality child care, Y-Zone is designed to meet the needs of children 8 years old to 14 years old.

We have established a clean, safe, and healthy environment where children will have the opportunity to play and explore with a variety of age appropriate games, materials, and activities. Our intent is to provide a fun place your child will want to visit while you are participating in our YMCA facility or programs.

All children must be properly
registered before using Y-Zone.   
Registration can be handled at the front desk.

Parents must remain in the YMCA
facility while using Y-Zone program.

We encourage you to join Remind!  Find Remind on the app store! Stay up to date on everything Y-Zone.  This is the best and most efficient way to communicate with you in the event of a closure or for you to find out about a fun planned activity!

Y-Zone is designed for children 8 years old to 13 years old.

CHILD LIMIT
For the safety of all children, only 7 Children will be permitted in Y-Zone at a time. This is at a first-come, first-serve basis.  

TIME LIMIT
For the safety and well-being of all children, the maximum time allowed for a child to stay in Y-Zone is 2 hours.

COST
Y-Zone services are free to all members.  A charge of $1.00 per minute will apply if you exceed the 2 hour time limit.

WHAT TO BRING
To make your child’s visit successful, you will need to bring in the following items:

  • Gym Shoes
  • Hoodie or jacket to stay warm
  • Comfortable clothes to move around in
  • A water bottle to stay hydrated
  • The YMCA is not responsible for any personal items.
